Hobbies and career interests are often confused among people in conversations. People see others who are very good at a certain hobby and claim that they will grow up to become a professional in that field (example, they see a kid who plays the guitar very well and say, “He will grow up and become a guitarist”). We usually think that a person who is well with a hobby will eventually grow up and pursue it professionally, given that there are no parental constraints.
